So CW,

Is that going to be a safe queen or are you going to use it? Now I have a question for you, in the bottom photo the back side scale looks like it's got finger grooves and the front scale dose not have finger grooves......can you post a shot of the other side?

How did you decide between the jigged Buf horn vs the smooth Buf horn? Do you plan to get a jigged one next so that you will have both? I simply couldn't decide between the two scale forms because they both look terrific.

Good lookin'!
I just received my CS 110 (s30v / indigo royalwood / nickel silver bolsters / rivets and finger grooves)
Such a solid and well built lockback, and the brown leather sheath is great quality as well.
But...the nickel silver bolsters do tarnish VERY easily.

Please use daily and post a pic in one year. :D Asian buffalo horn is one of those materials that just looks better and better with use and time.

Its got finger grooves both sides just the picture playing trick with ya .....2..I just really like the smooth bone look more my style...3..Not sure about EDC though i'm going back and forth on using it.I bought it as a Heir loom hand me down kinda thing but then i listened to a guy tell a story about how there was no money he'd ever take to sell his dads hand me down knife.That had no real money value but the fact it was his working knife and the wear and tear is what he loved about it...Made rethink using it because it was gonna be on display only really.Plus why put S30V steel on it if i'm not gonna use it right :D It wasn't super expensive compared to some knives it was a reasonable $137.00

+1 on the smooth WB, I also like it better than the jigged WB. It's a very nice looking knife and the the finger grooves are a real plus in my book. Nice score!

I also like the smooth scales. The dark scales and the nickle look real good. I think because the finger groves are shallow they don't show up real well. Great looking knife!!!

Congratulations on that beauty!! :thumbup:

We have similar tastes.....here are a couple of my users;

Only difference is the engraved name and mine has no finger grooves. These get used a lot!!

I started collecting Bucks in 2008.When I got my first club knife I was torn about using it as it was as 111 elk,NS, mirror polished and gold etch blade,a really nice Buck.My wife KathyJo [www.kathyjo.net] just looked up at me and said "Who are you saving it for ?" She made a real good point and since then I feel better about gently using a few of my "Dress up carry" Bucks.. So go ahead DUC that 110 !!!!
