This is my handground XM-18 I recieved from Rick. The grippy G-10 scale that comes with the XM-18 always scrapped my knuckles when I had to go in my pockets. So, I made my own scale using a burgandy micarta. I milled it to the thickness of the original scale. I didnt polish it, just flat sanded the surface to 320 grit and left the edges raw from machining. I like the raw look of it. I also satined the pocket clip and the tip up carry plate. Its got a few scratches, but I do use it.
