My latest acquisition: a custom handmade seax with leather sheath. The "Tingvoll Seax". The handle consists out of pieces of fossile Steller's seacow bone, black fiber spacers, reindeer and sambar stag and silver pins. Hammered and blued steel guard and pommel. The blade is made out of 80CrV2 steel and is 8 inches long. The leather sheath is also custom handmade and has a adjustable diagonal carry system for the left or right side. All made by the Dutch knifemaker Gert van den Elsen.
