Have anybody ever seen a Griffe with wharncliffe blade and zero grind?? :D

i own one, and its definiately the best lil fixed blade i ever seen. best than Hak,spot, swick or any other small necker.

The original was a darn good knife, but this is : AWESOME!

Pics on the weekend :D

Sounds good, I'm a big fan of the EKI La Griffe.

I'v got a swedged zero ground one back home in Scotland. Thats a nice wee blade too

here is it, with my current EDc lodout :D

It's a production LaGriffe with a custom grind on it.
There are custom knifemaker's around the forums that could do it for you.

It sure is sweet.:D

Thanks. If someone can recommend a maker with this experience, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll ask around the maker's forum.

Again, thanks for the idea. I think the La Griffe is a design that has not been fully explored. I'm amazed that more versions have not been produced.

"Tom Krein" or "Richard J" would be able to do that for you. You can contact them both through the forum :)

If you take a look at Fred Perrins custom La Griffes he does a good range of blade shapes and sizes.
I personally like the hawk bill blade the best but some of the bowie ones do look pretty sweet, and usefull.

Many thanks! I'll pursue this.

I carry either my La Griffe or a HAK every day of the week. The HAKs have both the claw and the Wharnclliffe blade. I think a La Griffe similarly ground would be ideal.

Thanks again.

I like the key fob in the second picture! Nice idea. Anyone know where to get one?
