My first (Real) fixed blade
SICOPTD.jpg

I love it to death
anywho here's how I did this
The patina is a mustard Patina
I took the thumb ramp off WITH A VERY DULL FILE , it seriously took 3 hours to get it off , but I think it was worth it. I tried to put some jimping on where the ramp used to be , but it didn't work out too well.
I formed the already amazing grips just a little bit thinner.
Next on the agenda is wooden or G10 grips.
This knife is amazing and I'm proud to own one.
Anyway thanks for stopping by and I hope you liked.

Good job. That 3 hours shows some serious dedication. The modifications are addicting!!! I look forward to seeing this blades progress.

Welcome!

Looking good!

You can easily even that out with a Dremmel and the little drum sander attachment.

Or some sandpaper on a backing like a piece of hard wood or something.

You are a braver man than I, tackling that thumb ramp with just a file! Love the results of the mustard patina.
