My Dads Bowie

Finished up this bowie for my Dad this weekend.He asked me to make him a confederate style bowie...here it is.
Forged from a large antique file. Handle is salvaged from a old cross peen hammer. Guard made from mild steel from salvage yard. Etched patina.
OAL 17" 1/4" thick at handle. Its a beast.
