with all this talk about drop point 110's, I managed to talk my dad into reprofiling his, now I need to do mine :D

When closed, is the tip all the way down inside the handles?
 
Great!!! I should have also asked how much it shortened the blade?

Did he keep the false top edge angles or was the top edge taken down flat?

Sorry about all the questions. Just asking as I think of them.
 
no problem, the top was left flat, at the drop it took all of the false edge out. you never know till you ask. :D

Thanks!!!, Bout the time I sent that last one, I figured out that I could click on your pic and then click on it again and could pretty much see what he did. Sure kept a nice curve!
 
Here is a picture of it with the one hand opener removed, so you can see the lines of the blade a little better.
