I just got the Satin version; to my surprise it’s marked “limited Edition”. Now I need the bead blast version.

Very, very nice, not sure which I like best though..........I think maybe the one in the middle. :D

Are the serrations deeper on that one ? Or is it just the angle ?

Robbie Roberson ;)

I just got them out so I could check and you’re right, the matte black one has deeper serrations. The other two look to be the same.

I think the middle one, matte black, and a bead blast version are what's current.

All are nice. Is the bottom one a current model. It is so hard to keep up with.
The bottom one is a limited edition manufactured by SOG in small numbers each year, "Desired by Many, Owned by Few".

The Spencer Frazer designer seal is visible at the base of the blade in the photo. I'm not sure what the difference is between the limited edition and the regular polished version.

I had no idea! Thanks for that info :)

My favorite kind of knife to collect is daggers. I have a satin-finished Daggert and its a very nice example.
I'd like to see a totally symmetrical version- with either no serrations, or dual serrations. Also, a slightly longer unsharpened portion at the base of the blade, so the guard can be used as a subhilt if the user is so inclined.

We have talked about doing a limited run of daggerts without serrations. I am not sure they will go into production soon but keep an eye as that has been discussed and could happen anytime.

Seriously? Yes, very much!!! :)

A polished Daggert without any serrations would be a beautiful knife! How about a polished Micarta grip as well for additional eye-candy?

'course I'd also like to see an all-black Daggert with a gritty Zytel handle and one fully serrated edge, too. ;)

...and a Pentagon with a much longer blade, and Tigershark with the gorgeous mirrored black finish used on the Super Bowie, and a SEAL 2000 in stainless Damascus, and all of them having those great leather sheaths SOG used in the late 80s.

...and whole bunch of other things. :D

A Necro, yes...but I have an excuse. I searched the wide web for "sog daggert without serrations" & then searched Bladeforums, only finding the subject addressed here. Were these ever made? If not, what would it take to make such a thing happen? I'm sure there are enough dagger nuts around to soak up 100 or so & simply not grinding serrations on them would make the day of the guy grinding them. This would be a beautiful dagger.
