Knives001.jpg

I just started less than a year ago and really have enjoyed gathering these knives.. My wife thinks I am nuts and at times it does get the best of me, and my wallet.. The people I have met on BF have been awesome, and I have learned alot about steels, handle materials, and the price point on knives.

Yeah, how 'bout a left-to-right top-to-bottom list of the maker/model of each knife. ;)

Looks like a fun collection, but painful to bump into by accident!

There is a Dozier K9 with jigged bone that is kinda orange on the left.
The orange one in the center in Crotts skinner. Next orange to the right is a Dozier K2 orange one on far right is a Crotts model one.. The model one was used on 6 whitetails one weekend in Iowa. A simple stropping and it was sharper than when Dan sent it to me.

Who made the one to the right of center with the Ironwood handle and black butt cap?

Right center Ironwood with African blackwood is an older Dozier classic. I just traded for that a week ago. It surprised me how much lighter it is than a full tang. It still balances nicely, and it fits my hand like a glove.

Awesome collection you've got there of skinning knives. Those orange handles are growing on me.

What about that Charles May in the upper right.....was he not a pleasure to deal with:p J/K, we know Charlie's a great guy:D

Or is that an Ingram? They have very similar stlyles, and I may be wrong about it being a May.

Oh yeah, GREAT looking knives! I like all of those makers myself.

Very nice collection! Excellent choice with the Doziers......

I see not a Bark River or three, therefore, a lauding "Outstanding!" (with applause) will have to wait.

I agree Charles May is a great guy.. I have a lot of remorse after selling a few of his.
This May is a Lil friend model and is going to be given to my son for his birthday.
The sheep a full curl.. Measures 41" on one side,40.6 on the other.. Sheep are the only animal that actually takes my breath away when you have them in the crosshairs. if you think knives are addicting.. Sheep are 10x worse..

I have been blessed with 10 kids.. We hunt 4 states for whitetails and the occasional Alaska trip. Besides the memories, I want to leave them all a couple nice knives to carry on the tradition to their children. The orange G10 crotts model one took care of 6 of the 18 whitetails we shot in Iowa this past Dec.
