Now to get some leather on it.

Very nice. I'm not wild about the Spanish notch, but that's a personal preference. I really like the proportions, though.

Thanks, . As I was assembling this one it occured to me that the last 1/2 inch of blade would be hard to sharpen with the C guard. The "Spanish Notch" Occupies that space.

Ricky this is the first time I've see your work. Very well done.

Thank you Sir, I am Honored more than you could know. I am Just starting out, but trying to do my best. Your WIPs have been a huge help to me. I Can't wait to get your File guide. :)

I'm pretty new to this game, but one thing that I see that might help the look and feel, is to thin the handle as seen from the top view. I might lighten the guard too, or tapper towards the tips some. JMHO. Hey, you got a atta boy from Bruce Bump!! BTW, you'll love the file guide, I love mine.

Good job.

It's a nice Bowie.

But some things I don't like with it. Not neccessarly defects, however just my personel preference:
Blade clips too short.
Poorly executed spanish notch, looks like you just drilled a hole.
Guard is too big & clunky, needs to be smaller/tappered.
Handle too thick towards handle-spacer transition.

Edited to add:
I re-read my above post this morning and realized it's delivery was a bit harsh.
Sorry! It is a nice Bowie, however it seemed you really wanted detailed critique so I offered the above after study of your images.
