So I've posted previously about the awesome sheath that 1066vik was nice enough to send my oldest daughter for Christmas. She uses the hell out of her knife, made her own lanyard, always takes it with her when we're oot and aboot, and loved arranging and rearranging the leather cord that vik included with the sheath. Anyway, she was so enamored of the filework on my Backwoods Custom Knives knife as well as on the FrankenBecker that she decided to throw down some filework of her own. <3

Bro,

Your daughter's filework rocks! That's just awesome to see a "kid" working on a blade like that and the Remora's small too..... need to see another finished/out of the sheath pic.

Thanks for sharing,

Eli

Wow! Good job. At first glance I saw the buffer wheel and long hair...... My heart skipped a beat until I realized it wasn't spinning.

Wow. Your daughter might be the next big knife designer. The sky is the limit with a little passion and talent. We can already see she has the talent. Sounds like you affirmed the passion part.

Now that's cool. Get her an 11 or 14, she deserves it!

Maybe not the 11....

Great mods I love to see youngsters involved in any type of hands on activity. Maybe there is hope for the next generation.

Great sheath aNd cool looking knife...she is on her way, what a great way to spend time with your kids..bravo.

Thanks for sharing, BRL! It's great to see kids loving the outdoors. She did good work on that Remora, too!

Very cool to see! Get that gal a grinder and respirator STAT, she's got skills!

Thanks fellas. I'm real proud of all my critters, even though not all of them share the same interests as me. We're doing well in the Battle Against The Screens (healthy activities and interests versus 'screens' i.e. tv, games, social networking).

My oldest daughter, the one shown here, is getting more and more interested in outdoor activities. Her favorite gift this Christmas was the BB gun she asked for. Middle daughter will tag along and find the good times, although she's more of a traditional girly-girl. That's okay, of course. Youngest daughter is my ultra-tomboy and is my go-to-girl for when I need things set on fire or punched in the nuts :D
