I went to the MVPA Convention today at the fair and expo center in Louisville. I am retarded when it comes to military vehicles but saw a lot of awesome stuff I wanted to share with my fellow Beckerheads. If I'm out of bounds posting this here, I apologize.

There were a couple cool set ups like this.

A line of Jeeps. The sheer awesomeness of these restored vehicles was awesome. Even the ignorant like myself can appreciate.

I really liked this one a lot. Especially the licence plate on the front...

Da Bomb

My dad and my son inside my father's friends restored mobile bunk vehicle (again, ignorant about what it's actually called...dad told me but I soon forgot because I saw something shiny)

A WWII go kart built in Iwo Jima. I know this due to the obviously obvious poster board explaining it.

Another array of vehicles.

Tank hauler. Freaking huge beast.

My boy wanted to get in every jeep there and drive it. I think I'd have been that way when I was a lad

One of the chapters vehicles my dad's a part of.

A shot of some of the vendors there. Mostly selling restoration parts for vehicles but there were several memorabilia and surplus stands.

Biggest table of knives I saw. Only saw one KA-BAR and it wasn't even a government issue one, it was a commemorative USMC knife with sheath. Did see a few Camillus models and other various ones. Wish I could have afforded to buy something there.

Anyway, it was a great day and I had a blast with the boy, apologies for lack of Becker content. However, I did carry my BK-11 in my Vanquest Mobius VPacker I had on me however so there was a Becker at the show.

To add some Becker content in here I'll throw in a pic of my BK-2 that I added some jumping to yesterday...with a cheap a$$ diamond file from the cheap a$$ tool store.

Awesome photos! Thanks for sharing.

I see a few rides that I wouldn't mind taking for a spin! You can't go wrong with any vehicle with a .50 cal (or bigger) on top!

I should have taken way more photos. There were so many awesome rides there I was giddy even through my ignorance about them. Definitely found several Jeeps I'd have committed grand theft auto to have.

Drop in some Becker content (rule foe the Becker sub) and it will probably ride. Next time make a point to take a pic of your Becker with a vehicle or on one of the mannequins.;)

I'm in one of your pictures..... :p

Actually, I remember seeing you guys. The kid looked like he was having a blast!

You and me both! There were some interesting old blades in that lot... Two caught my attention more than the others.

Circled in Red was a Collins V44/#18 Raider Machete/Bolo that looked fairly authentic from what I could tell (no expert there though). Circled in blue was a Case M-1 NASA survival knife. There were also a few interesting theater modified knives as well as a 1917 Bolo floating around the show too.

Ha. Awesome that I inadvertently snapped a picture with you in it and didn't even know. He did have a lot of fun. I got to stick around after my folks left for peaceful perusing of the vendors.

I brought no money just for the reason that it's tight and I knew I'd buy a knife if I had any money on me lol.

It was definitely a fun show and I'd do it again for sure. Wanted to check out the gun show while I was their but again definitely wouldn't have been good on my already small bank account ha.

Wish I could've made it down. Jerry invited me, but I was supposed to be stuck going to a theme park.
