I just got a .25" thick Satin Jack from a fellow INFI brother... I had sold it to him months ago and regretted it every day since... I have to say I think the Satin Jack, especially the thick ones are one of the best overal designs, and it seems the Israeli and our own special forces, not to mention Jerry himself (recent story of his having one on hand) seem to agree with me!

...so lucky for me I managed to get it back! This one is special (because it is mine) due to the Leather sheath made by Dwayne (I think you can see it on his website) it is one of the pin lock sheaths that is rock solid!

I am also pretty happy due to the recent email from Dwayne saying he is about done with two very incredible sheaths he made for my Purebred fighters! I have an initial picture of those two sheaths if anyone can offer to post it for me..?

You may all now begin with the insults

Very cool Peter. It's always nice to have a part of the family come back home for a stay.;)

Parting with Busse knives always brings regret down the road. I'm trying to never part with another knife...guess we'll see if it works :)

Glad you got your Baby back.:) I just got a 3/16" SJ and Love it. Just got done making a Pouch style sheath for it and Dwayne is making me a Snake skin sheath also.

Send the pics to me and I'll get em posted for you.:)

BTW how does the 1/4" SJ's do at slicing veggies? My 3/16" SJ slices veggies really well. Better than my old BA3 and it too was 3/16".

wildmanh... I just sent the pic. I have not tried to slice veggies yet with the SJ, just seem to use my kitchen knives! I will however give it a try tonight when I get home and let you know. I am however sure another one of the guys here could tell you his experience... right boys? er, well, they may all just be keeping them in their safes, so I will get you the answer soon!

Thanks Mate! Here is the Anacond sheath pic. Very sweet setup you have there.

Thanks Wildmanh!

I am with you Spearhead... Though I do occasionally get them on the side of a plate when I order a big helping of Mad Cow! BEEF, it's what's for dinner... and tastes a whole lot better than tofu!

Oh... you were referring to "garnish" prep. I get it now. I suppose it is nice to add some color for "presentation" purposes.:D

You civilized guys crack me up.:p

Bravado, yeah I have to say I am pretty happy! It has gotten around, this knife, well used and even has some of the crinkle coat worn off.... but there is nothing like thick INFI!

I can only imagine a hollow ground SJ made with 5/16th!

Hey Herber! Thanks for posting that pic bro!:D I've been staring at those two sheaths for so long unfinished that its real nice to see them finally together and done with. ;)

Hopefully they will get some good use, them puppies are THICK and stout, and the pin goes all the way through to the back of the sheath.:D

Congrats on the 1/4" SJ Peter! Mine is well used, no longer wearing a coat, and the micarta is a bit worn, and its one of my favorite knives!:D :p

Here is a pic of Mtnclimber69's SJ in action. It makes my mouth water just looking at it.:)

Thanks Wildmanh!

I thought I should post something with a piece of fruit in it for Spearhead as a point of interest... the SJ cut through it like a hot knife through butter...very easy to slice thin slices of the orange... and for the record the peel tasted great in a glass of Kettle One.

Spearhead, the round object in the picture is an orange. It's primary use is to make juice for drinks that include vodka and or rum.... some people actually eat them, but I am not sure why.

Those are the colorful dessert drinks with little umbrellas in them served by hot women in very little clothing... right?:D

Spearhead, you got it! I could use a hot women and a cold drink right now.... sigh... wishful thinking. This being single thing sucks on some levels, and on others... more money for INFI!

Climber....I can agree with you there my friend...plenty of money for STUFF.....but waking up to the warm and cuddlies;) ...seem to be getting far and few in between as I get older. Oh well booze and Stuff are good...LOL!
