sadly my delica is starting to get both vertical and horizontal blade play. can i do any thing about it?
 
I would check the screws in both the pivot and the lockbar. Make sure they are not loose. Also, make sure to clean out the notch that the lockbar engages when closed. You can see it on the tang of the knife when closed. A lot of pocket lint will get caught in there.
