My dive knife

I thought maybe a few of you would enjoy seeing something a bit different. I bought this 25 years ago. We have had many adventures together. I dug it out of storage last year when we took a snorkeling trip to the Keys and I think I need to hit the maintenance forum and ask about how to refurbish her.

The blade is 7", and I have always loved the big pommel, serrations, and line cutter features on this design. Wish I knew more about it (like what the blade steel is), but Google turned up nothing except one ebay auction where the seller referred to it as the "Commander" model. C'est la vie.

You can see it's an older diving knife, they all used to look like they were stolen from Rambo himself :p
A lot of older guys in my diving club had one that resembled this one.
I can't tell you a lot about it, but it is a French brand and more then likely made of 420 stainless steel...
 
Nah, Rambo stole his knife from me :D

I wrote to the company to see if they can confirm the model and blade steel, just for my curiousity. Not holding my breath for a reply though.
