Hey guys,

Well it all started Sunday (its now Wednesday) when my dog refused to eat. Since then she has refused to eat (expect for a small piece of chicken the size of a quarter that she threw up hours later) We have taken her to the doctors and they are not to sure what was wrong with her (they said it looked like something was swirling around in her stomach) so we have to get samples to have them test, although she has been getting much worse each day. last night we had to stay up all night long and clean the room and let the dog outside (and pick her up bringing her back inside). her behavior has also changed to a depressed like state (although she always wags her tale when she sees us) and has started to dig whenever she is let out. (she stopped digging a long time ago). Honestly Since she is about 13 years old I kind of expected her to be dying at any time but i hate to see my dog in a depressed/pained state.

hopefully this is in the right area...

Sorry to hear this. Hopefully they can figure out whats wrong with her and get her some help. I hate it when a pet gets sick and you can't do much for it.

You, your family and your buddy will be in my thoughts and prayers. Things are getting close for one of mine so I know what it is like.
Been a tough week for my 4 legged buddies this week.

Not going to post the pic without the bandages. Way too gruesome. Let's just say the leg was cut to the bone and joint surface. After 4 days, things are looking up for Haleigh.

I picked up my dog to bring her inside for the IV and she is much lighter... She also wouldn't even keep her head up. :/

Sorry about your friend, positive thoughts from the Pleasant Valley....

Condolences! We went thru something similar 7 years ago. Hang in there!

Smoke goin up for you and your dog. They are such a big part of our families, and it's hard to see them sick or suffering

Prayers going out. My girlfriend's dog went through a similar thing last year. Ate something he wasn't supposed to. Luckily, he recovered. Hope yours does too.

Our thoughts are with you. It is always a hard thing. Hopefully, your vet will find out what's wrong and your dog will recover.

My prayers are with you. I just lost my 15 year old dachshund a couple of weeks ago, I know what you are going through. Good luck and I hope your little girl recovers.

Prayers on the way right now! When you can please update us on how things are going. I love dogs!

sorry to read this. they are a man's best friend for sure. best wishes to your lil buddy and your family

well... we are thinking we may have to put her down tonight... she seems to be getting worse and we don't want her to suffer...

Well, we were making beef jerky and tried giving my dog some. Well, she finally ate some. She also drank a bunch of water and is walking around alittle. She seems to be doing alittle better. So, it looks like she is atleast trying to eat/drink.

Thank goodness things are looking up man! My old lab spot just turned 13 but other than typical sight/hearing decline he is doing pretty good, have to remind/nag him to go pee before bringing him inside or he dribbles a bit. Going a little senile I guess.
Give us another update in a day or two

I send prayers, love & healing energy to your dog.

What tests have they done? Any blood work! X-rays?

Mr. Mongo is a veterinary doctor with a huge heart for animals. He is a valuable resource for all bf's four-legged members. You would be wise to take his offer to help.

It is so sad when dogs are sick.
