Hey guys and gals,
i think this may be my first new thread since ive joined, been a reader here for years and wanted to share some pics in my very own thread, of a knife that took me 3 years to find and aquire.
I got it a few days back, and its been in and will stay in my pocket at work every single day.
Its a UG Morning Sun with no trees and an Almadine cabochan. i posted a few pics in the sebenza pic thread but heres some better ones,
now i just need to find a night sky blue star with no trees. Maybe one day.

Love it my man. I did not know they did a nite sky.
I would love to see a close up of that when you have the time. That handle makes me want a bowl or raisin bran cerial.
 
Holy crap! Beautiful! If you don't mind, what does this sell for? What's with the "no trees"??

Just getting into CRK and though a Damascus with micarta was my dream knife, but this might change some things...

they usually have pine trees in the morning sun graphics. I have not seen one without pine trees until this one.
Cost is accross the board w CRK. Regular unique larges are 535$ plus 65$ for almandine inlay.

The new ladder graphic/ladder damascus is on my list, after a night sky and an umnumzaan startac.

Bellablades, i will try and get close ups for you of the handle. Sunlight is the best so i will take one tomorrow for ya.
 
Gorgeous! Early on I was focused on inlays, but recently I have started to think about the UGs. This one is certainly stoking that fire!
 
Thanks, it really is a gorgeous knife. Best part is, its not fragile and built exactly the same as my plain jane 21. So im carrying it everyday. New graham knives had the the matching night sky version, but it sold before i could snatch it up. They didnt even have a pic of it on the website and it sold.

Yeah, I just sold that "Night Sky" tonight and it was a beauty. Please sir, save yourself 3 years and contact CRK with exactly what you want and I had to email them a pic plus what I wanted to add, or in your case, take away. And Lisa will whip it right up. Mine only took I think 6 months total time. When they called I couldn't believe that it was go time already. You can pick the jewel and everything. Plus it will be 100% brand spanking new. Please man, I love matching sets. Do it for the better of man kind :)
 
Thanks Brend, i may just do that. Im going to get an umnum and a 25 first i think. I actually sold off all of my spydercos and becnhmades except for one, my first knife (a delica) given to me as a gift from my fiance. After i got my first sebenza, all other knives seem cheap and pointless. Ive had knives from 10$ up to almost 1k$ and none, have the rock solid engineering and tolerances as my sebenza. They truly are perfection in a knife. For me at least.
 
Wow, looking at that I feel like I'm standing in the desert looking up the mountains and the birds...then I realize I'm looking at a picture of a knife… it's fantastic.

The hunt is half the fun haha.
Just called Heather at CRK, theyre going to make me a custom Large 21 "Calvary" unique graphic, with a phrase i love scribed into the lockbar side. Its basically a morning sun with no color and tombstones ontop of the mountain, with an onyx cabochon. Very rarely have they made them, she doesnt think ones been made since the "regular" sebenza. Ill post pics in 6 months when it arrives.
 
That is a stunning piece of work. Very few knives can take your breath away, and that's one of them. Great find indeed!!
