This is my first "serious" flashlight, and boy do I love it! I am very glad of the decision that I made to go with a Surefire. This thing has no flaws at all, it is only 100% quality. Very bright, flawless beam, in a nice small package. I sure hope I don't catch the flashlight virus...I wouldn't be able to afford it.

Thanks for the link, Screehopper. I will have to check that out more when I have more time.

My second Surefire purchase, my brand new E2E-HA arrived today from Roger at Bayou LaFourche.

I am extremely pleased with the performance, fit and finish of my new EDC tool.

nice start! :D

now all you need is an arc aaa (this is a must), arc ls, and tigerlight.
those are among the "must have" flashlights that noone should be without ;)

The E2 series is what SF should be concentrating on: high performance, high output lights in a SMALL package; the original philosophy behind the 6C and 6P models.

Did yours come with a clickie on/off switch? If not, it's a bit pricey, but makes an excellent addition to the light.

Flashlight virus. HAHA! In that case, you should visit www.candlepowerforums.com It's a flashlight support group. :D :D :D

Unless you define "support group" as: "Causing me to open my wallet with each new-fangled flashlight" Then CPF is more appropriately a big sucking sound that causes me to spend WAY more than I should on illuminating my night!;) :p

Congats! That is a great light! I've also got the bug (got my ARC LSHF-P yesterday- a great light). I just keep telling myself that flashlights are cheaper than knives and MUCH cheaper than watches ;)!

This sounds like the explanation I give my wife ;)

My E2e-HA actually came with the momentary on switch, which I actually prefer. The catalogue does say that they are switching over to the clicky ones in 2003, so I guess I am lucky that I got the "tactical" one.

Edit: It is funny too, because my E2e-HA was "fresh" from the factory, I was on backorder from TAD Gear, they had to wait to get more...

The E2E-HA has an excellent reputation. You should have many long and happy years with it. :)

I just ordered the E2E-HA yesterday. I'm glad to hear everybody is happy with them.:D This will be my second SF light. I am currently carrying a black G2 (which has a clickie switch robbed from a $7 Garrity Wal-Mart special thanks to candlepowerforums.com). The G2 is a great light that won't break the bank. This one will probably go in my wife's purse when she sees the E2E.

If you check out that link, you will never have any more time...or money:(

But this stuff sure is FUN!

Haha ya...I registered with that forum yesterday...

I can't stop playing with my flashlight! It is so cool! I purposely keep the lights off and use my flashlight when moving from room to room in my house at night; hah im such a geek :D. This first set of batteries will probably be gone real quick with all the constant playing.

My E2e should arrive tomorrow! It will be my edc "long throw" light to go along with my ARC LSH-P and my ARC AAA.

Am I the only person in the world who still owns or carries the original E2? Did everybody just throw their old E2s away and run out and get the E2e when it came out?

What is the big deal on the E2e that compels one to spend the extra $10 to $20 on one rather than the original E2, which are still available?
