Picked this up a month ago and sent it off to Ghostown Customs for a cleaning and sharpening .Yes I know I could have sent it to Buck but I had other non Buck knives that need love too.

Looks much better! I have to ask...did post this before? The frame is radiused with a two dot blade?

I remember one posted that was similar and it was thought to have been radiused by hand , by someone other than Buck.

I have a two dot and the frame is square, not rediused. Preston

Nice score, looks good. My 2 dot with no nail nick is one of a few favorite 112’s I own

Have you ever sent any to Buck?

If so, how do the results compare with Buck's SPA work?
I have not but everything I have seen done at Buck looks pretty darn good.I choose this root due to the turn around time was quicker than Bucks and I was sending multiple knives of different manufacturers

Well, I think you said it's a user anyway, but I suspect Buck would have taken all the scratches off the blade. They also can put the EDGE 2000 profile on it if you ask, which is an advantage with the 440C.

Might have made it look so good you wouldn't have wanted to USE it. :)

Anyhow, now that you're here you'll probably soon have more to send to Buck so you can see how they do it.

It's a great knife anyway.......better than a new one the way I see it.
