My edc and a rare (?) blackjack

The Old Timer was a gift from another forum member and one of those made in the USA. and the Razel is in s30v and desert ironwood. I love the knife and it sees use every day. My favorite use for it so far is in air layering branches of trees, the chisel edge is perfect for scoring the bark and the hollow grind more than sharp enough to shave it off. But I use it every day, even if its only to cut tape or cardboard. Thank you Graham Bros.!


And this is my Blackjack Trail Guide with a stag handle. It is sanbar I think but was hoping someone could give me positive identification. I figured I'd include it here because I keep hearing about how rare the stick antler is getting.

I had a very difficult time getting even this mediocre a photo of this knife. I need a lightbox! Also, I have no idea what the area towards the point is about, it is not visible to me by visual inspection. I think this knife might need a buffing.

It is good to hear you are using and enjoying the Razel. It is hard to beat that Desert Ironwood. That Blackjack is a good looking knife.:thumbup: Thanks for sharing the pictures.

ha, thats a great combo. I too carried an oldtimer and razel on a job
in a mill for eight months, as an electrican. I used the small blade of the folder
to skin the ends of 277v live wires, in a 12 by 12" box. And the razel was
great for scrapeing and cleaning old connectors. (and prying the half rusted boxes open)
