Sticking with the my "kid beat up your honor student" bumper sticker theme.

Today my Kershaw Needs Work EDC cut open two bales of hay and open two bags of three way grain for my horses. Before returning to my wrangler jeans.

What did your knife do today?

Just the usual: Cut some string. Cut a slice of pie. Opened a packet of coffee. Cleaned tar from my fingernails.

I had an Endura but I used my Buck 301 for most of it.

Pen blade on yellow CV Peanut slashed through three pieces of tape which allowed me to gain access to the contents of a cardboard box more easily than I otherwise would have been able to (plan b would have required pneumatic tools and high explosives, neither of which were handy at the time...).

I whittled a spoon, actually more a spoontula.....oh and the 50 zombies I killed too:rolleyes:

So far, Para 2, accompanied me and the dog with the early morning dog walking routien[ never know when the wildlife may become hostile ] up the lane and back 1mile approx, pitch black ,followed by slicing open plastic 25 kg coal bag so can stoke up the rayburn for the day ahead, back into pocket for the next chore , and its only 6.30 am. Have fun Faron

Carried my Kramer custom “Libre Fighter “I opened the mail, cut open a box of car parts, scared a guy that was trying to steal a girls luggage at the hotel i was staying at and I managed to stab myself in the leg with it after dropping it point fist ( I was practicing changing grips before bed). Just a small cut and a lot of shit form the guys i work with:mad:.

Open, close many times, back to pocket.

... Forgot to add: open coffee packs & shave my face clean.

Ed,

Why didn't you just let it dropped to floor (assuming wooden floor)?

My knife opened a few packages, cut some paper, opened and closed many times fidgeting, and I took it with me to potentially use as a weapon when I walked out front to get the mail. No assailants, flying monkeys, ninjas, or Chuck Norris so in the pocket it stayed. :D

Yesterday my GEC #25 cut up a bunch of cheddar during my lunch in the break room. Bonus points for being at work (school).

I'm oncall and therefore bunkered in my basement today. The knife (or knives) have done jack squat so far, though I anticipate a bit of fruit cutting work coming their way.

Resillience. Oppened a Hard drive safe bag.
Fallkniven F1 used it to slice some tomato for my dog. True story.
