I had to send the maker of the sheath an email on what I should say about this type sheath,he no longer makes them as mine were his last--way too much trouble to make I beleave is what he told me:grumpy: I'll be happy too give you more info once he tells me what to say..sorry:foot:

Thanks Dave and Terry, and yes that is one of mine I made a while back.
I took those off my web page as they are just a royal pain to do, at least
the way I do it, basically all one piece of leather, wrapped around the knife
then around the light and then folded down behind to form the belt loop
there is a very small piece of leather glued to the inside of the light holder
to prevent it from pushing all the way through, I found that looked nicer
than trying to form the leather down that front of a round light.

I would consider making them only when folks find out and really want to have
one made, otherwise I just keep them off the web site, it does cost a little
more than the regular vertical sheath.

And thanks Dave for alerting me of this thread ;)

BTW, here is my latest EDC which I really like a lot!

Damn, is that ever nice leather work, and I thought you were just a knife collector :thumbup:

Hehe, well, not much of a knife collector either, more of a user when it comes
to knives, sell them to get the next one, had a few collections a while back but
that is history and I'll not likely redo that again, too much to invest to collect;

If any one is interested on how that sheath was made, here is a link to some
images I took during the process, not all but some that may help others if they
want to give sheath making a try;

Instructions

Now, the images are not shown in order, so you have to look around to get
them sorted, I had posted them in a leather forum a while back to help provide
some incentive for others to try their hand and posted them in the correct order...

Out of curiousity, how are you guys posting such large pics? Also, do I need a Gold Membership to post multiple or larger pics?

My photos are hosted by Photobucket, which does a great job, I purchased
the $25 a year deal with them, but you can also start out with a free membership

As to posting larger images here using Bladeforums, I think the software limits you
on the size of file you can up load, so best bet is to use another source
to store your images;
Like the one you posted, you can click on it, save the address and then insert
that between the

But it is considered good manners to limit your file to max of 800 pixels per longest
side for easier viewing..
