Sorry this picture is so big, my daughter couldn't get it to shrink down.

Any ways these have become my edc's as of late. The peanut has been carried in my pocket for about two years and about 2 weeks ago i decided to start to really use it due to all the talk here. I have cut boxes ,food, fishing line and even cleaned some fish with it while my son was yelling get me a knife so i can clean these fish. He was a bit surprised at how well it worked.
I always thought bigger was better but I'll tell you that peanut is quickly changing my way of thinking.
Thanks for listening and lets here some of you folks peanut tales.
God Bless

Good to hear you decided to really use it Tracy. That's how I get enjoyment from my knives. It's nice to have a well finished knife that looks pretty but putting it to work is the best way to get an appreciation for it's overall quality. Quite a bit can be done with a small blade as long as it's nice and sharp and the user has some skill with it. I'm gonna have to get me a peanut one of these days.

Oh and don't worry about the pic size. It's actually not that big compared to a lot of others around here.

my wife's grandfather, who never spent a dime that he didn't have to spend, owned two case peanuts.I decided to try the pattern myself because I figured he got to his 90's using his wits and good judgement,he was a ww2 vet,and was in my opinion a very wise man.I just told myself I would carry this little knife untill I ran into something It couldn't do and then I would switch back to my trapper, well I am still waiting,if you use common sense, it is plenty of blade for everyday tasks and I have come to appreciate the shape of the handle and the utility of having to very different blade shapes.the peanut is a solid performer,i would reccommend the pattern to anyone.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
Knife Crazied sorry but I would be lost without either one of these in my pockets.
Dannyp what ever you do think long and hard before you pick up a peanut they can be addicting.
God Bless
