I finally had the chance to buy the HD7 after many years and wondering if I would ever lay hands on one. I ordered it and a day later it arrived. I was stoked. However it had a minor issue and I was quite bummed out. I wasn't mad, just a little but disappointed. I wont go into why it may have been flawed, stuff happens. I just feel at that price point it should not have been overlooked. I guess my main concern was that they would just put a bandage on it and offer to mail it back. So only after having it for a few days it was back in the box and being prepped for the post office. However, my girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and would be up in the LA area. I somehow managed to convince her to stop by the their shop. I was greeted by a young man named Aaron. He was very nice and welcoming. I simply explained to him how I felt and he looked at it the knife. I don't know what conclusion he came to but offered a few solutions. Let me just say I probably wont be buying anything but Emerson's knives in the future. Also, I brought up my Raven which is in great shape but figured I might as well drop her off to get squared away. And again he took care of me again.

So I guess my overall experience was awesome and am quite impressed. I've been a buyer of their products for some time but never had the pleasure of dealing with their customer service. Having had the opportunity to go there to see the store front and meet a face was great. Good job guys!

I've had nothing but great experiences with my Emerson service. Simply put, they'll take care of you, because we're loyal users of their product. Only thing I can imagine they can do to top themselves is an invite-only beer tour.

I'm glad Aaron took care of you! We appreciate the nice comments and further strive to be the best in customer service!

I recently had an experience with EKI customer service when I received my new Tiger. The lock wasn't just sticky -- after a simple wave, it would literally lock to the point I needed to use a tool in order to disengage the lock bar.

I called EKI, explained the issue, and the rep immediately emailed me a pre-paid postage label which included the price of the box in which to ship the knife. Outstanding! Anyway, I soon received the knife back -- delivered right to my door. It now operates flawlessly. Absolute perfection. I really appreciate EKI taking responsibility and quickly resolving my issue. Again, simply outstanding customer service.

Aaron is a great guy--glad you had such a great experience. I'm not surprised in the least.
