Through the course of a few trades, I have gone from a single Emerson, a 14, to now having a 7 and an 8 as well! Each one makes me love Emerson knives, and a chisel edge, more and more! So far I think I like the 8 blade shape the most, but that full chisel on the 7 is awesome!

I've got the bug... Must find more... Thanks for a great subforum!

Congrats!

It is a slippery slope for sure. I started with a horseman then a 7 then a commander then more commanders then an Iron Dragon and there are others that have come and been passed on.

Started with the vindicate and waited for what seemed like forever for the sheepdog. Both are so amazingly perfect for me. I wish I had found Emerson much earlier in my knife collecting career

Emersons are unique in the way they break in. My snubby is close to perfect. It is my edc and will be for days and years to come. The handle and beefy snubby blade just feel right. I also have a mini A-100 but it can not kick the snubby out of my pocket.

If you like the full chisel of the 7, I highly suggest avoiding the Bulldog.

Because that Bulldog will scare everything else out of your pocket and hogs it all to itself.

If you like super check out the cqc-11. There was a small run released recently. That one is a large knife too, 4.1 inch blade!

Good choice man. definitely the breaking in is the funniest part to me
