I only have 6, and they're all productions, but I love them, especially my newest, the Mini 15. Hope you like the pics.

I should have mine this week. :)

Get ahold of Reese Weiland and have him do a framelock conversion. The wait will be worth it.

- Do you know if Reese requires the blade to be on hand or can you send it to him when your turn comes up?

Not sure, but when I send him something, I have him make a new blade for the old handle... Sorta like when a stock splits.

I "think" I might ask Reese to make me a Hissatsu blade.

I'd love to get a custom job from him, but I have two concerns:

1) Time: pretty much inevitable in his case, since he's only one man. But a year sounds like a long time to have to wait for a custom job to get back.

2) The extent of the mods I have planned. I want so many modifications made to one particular knife I own that, when it's all finished, nothing on it will be original. It seems kind of silly to go to all that trouble and end up with none of the original knife.

I suppose I could ask Reese to base the custom knife design off of the one I send him, but how much more would that end up costing? Building a knife from the ground up is quite an undertaking.

- Sorry, I should have been more specific. Do you have to send the knife to him right after you place the order or does he request it on hand when he is ready to start the work?

Having him make a new blade with the old handle sounds like a great idea.
