Oh lawdy is she nice!!! :D

Fit and finish is great, and the stonewashing on the blade is beautiful. She is also sharp as tits. I'm sorry I don't have any pics of her, all I have to take pics is my phone, and the pics I have attempted to take look like crap.

I have a few questions for other EL-02 owners though. The axis ripoff lock is a little stiff and I cannot flip the knife open easily. Is it going to loosen up at all or should I try fiddling with the pivot to make it a little easier?

It's like that because the springs being stiffer. Adjusting the pivot wont do anything.

Yes. I have a few of these knives and they all loosened up(lock and pivot). I got the tools for the pivots just in case. It's a great knife to use! All of my Enlan/Bee knives work great, just wish the could use a little softer omega spring. On a side note, my SRM axis knives are all really smooth and easy to operate. Tons of knife for the price!

Why not just contact CS and ship it back.

Dude! Knife forum. "CS" more often denotes "Cold Steel" than "Customer Service." Spent a while trying to figure out why you were suggesting to contact Cold Steel about an Enron or Exlax, or whatever those things are called. :D.

I don't have the EL-02, but I have the EL-04 which came very stiff on the spring, it eventually loosened up.
I've actually rather have a stiff spring that loosened up rather than a loose spring that quickly broke, sort of like people want early lockup in frame and liner locks.

I too have a couple EL-02. It helps to smooth things out by giving it a good rinse/wash with hot water and a little soap and re lube.

I had an EL-02B and yes, you do get a good bit of knife for a great price! The SW on the blade looks great and with a little down time to flick it open and close, that spring should loosen up. I did end up getting a Benchmade, and the axis lock on the BM feels night and day compared to the Enlan. Much smoother, edges are not sharp, ect. But, for the price, the Enlan/SRM knives are tough to pass up. Congrats on the purchase!

Got it, I know where these things come from, and that is the issue, a problem develops and you basically are on your own.
