The UG was my first, and for a while, only CRK, until I got the 'Zaan two weeks later. LOL! Ive had them for just over a year now, and have carried them a lot.
It doesn't show in the pics, but both have some nice snail trails.
I love them both. I can see how CRK's can be addictive.

I've told this story before, but I will again.
The UG was born in June of 2012, and sat in the display case at my local dealer for 2 1/2 years. I really liked the graphic, and I would ogle it every time I went in there, and the first time I held it, it just felt incredible in my hand. There was something about it, like I could just feel the quality and I knew it was more than your average folder. It was my first exposure to CRK'S. At the time I had no Idea what a UG was, I just knew I liked it. I handled the other CRK's they had, Umnumzaan, Ti Lock, mammoth ivory, and micarta Sebenzas, and they were all great; but I loved that UG.
When the time came to pull the trigger on a CRK, that was the one. It waited patiently for me for two and a half years, so I guess it was meant to be.
After buying it, I started hanging out in the CRK sub forum, and ended up pulling the trigger on the Umnumzaan two weeks later ( a decision I do not regret).
There is just something about a CRK that is more than the sum of the parts. After meeting, and having a conversation with Chris Reeve at Blade Show last year, I "get it" even more.
