This thing is beautiful! The fit and finish are flawless, perfect grinds! Is it a sin that this never cuts anything because of its beauty or has it simply earned the easy life lol.
 
I know what you mean. For Father's Day I got a Gen 5 off the auction site. From all that I had read, I was really looking for to gutting with it this fall. When it showed up it was absolutely spotless and came with the box and papers that was not mentioned in the sale. Now it is destined to be a shelfer. Got to look for a user now.

Once in awhile a knife comes along that just screams "Don't touch me!" Lol

I use to have a lot of knives that were that way. They spent their time in the gun safe. Once I was finally able to force myself to start carrying and using some of them, I found I appreciated them even more. It's not easy getting past the not wanting to use one though... You can use them, enjoy them, and still take care of them. The memories you make with each knife just makes the bond even stronger
