I have an abundance of knives. They include survival knives, fighting knives, hunting knives, folding knives and some tiny SAKs for EDC. ESEE 6 knife is the one I highly recommend in case you’re looking for a cool stuff for your own.

ESEE 6 - P knife tends to be the first amazing survival knife with regard to the ESEE Knives Company. It was voted one of the best balance as well as fit they have ever designed. The ESEE 6 contains a high- quality Blade -Tech cast sheath. Each one can be carried using the MOLLE back mounted on the cast sheath and also the molded sheath connected via the actual integrated MOLLE locks. ESEE 6 knife comes from the tests along with flying colors. Well built, sturdy, and reliable to complete the job, ESEE 6 is one of the best full tang knives available in the market.

My ESEE 6 knife always looks good and feels good in my hand. I am completely charmed at the glassy blade of the ESEE 6 knife. Its blade is manufactured from high carbon 1095 steel. 1095 is not the best steel in the world. If you do not care it in the right ways, it may rust as well as stains. However steel material is just a part of the game. The blade quality also depends on heat treatment techniques.

Some manufacturers may use the same steel, but not get the heat treatment in the right ways. ESEE does this correctly. That’s why ESEE 6 was one of the best survival knives in the world. It’s trust worthy. You can learn which purposes survival knife used from here on Wikipedia.

The knife handle or scales, are made of linen Micarta, which tend to be a durable material, created through soaking levels of linen cloth within the resin, after that compressing all of them under warmth and stress. It is a tough material that will take abuse, yet seems to grip better when wet with water (or blood!). As a survival blade, it works for the bigger tasks as well as some smaller.

The ESEE 6P-B knife features gray linen Micarta scales along with a black completed blade having a plain leading edge. It includes the black cast sheath, cut plate, paracord as well as a cord locking mechanism. The ESEE 6 has turned into a very good-liked choice to have an all-around wilderness knife, and for well reasoned.

At the first time opened ESEE 6P-B Knife’s box, my impression was it’s a small knife. I thought it should bigger for survival purposes. However, I changed my mind as I hold it in hand in the first field test. I realize ESEE 6 has got one of the best designs for surviving. I could use it to cut meats, open cans, cut hard branches, chop big pieces of wood to build fires, leverage coconuts to find water without any sweat. ESEE 6 helped me to survive with more pleasure. Along with its 5.75" leading edge and 3/16" heavy 1095 metal blade, it's possibly the very best balanced chef's knife ever designed by ESEE 6 knives. The blade of the knife measures 1.56" from cutting rim to the backbone. The razor sharp leading edge is sharp to around 20 levels, and may hold its edge extremely well. When this particular knife can be used with the actual optional MOLLE back again, the backer offers additional security for that knife whenever jumping through aircraft or even other severe activities that could make it come loose in the sheath. The sheath screws are manufactured from stainless metal, and the actual sheath program is completely ambidextrous.

I feel very much comfortable for its amazing cutting option. This survival knife is extremely durable, well-balanced in hands, and easy. For just how many knife you're getting, it's a great deal. I have used many US made knives. ESEE 6 is actually one of my strongest recommendations. Buy this and attempt to put this down the very first times; you'll think it is back in your hand with regard to no reason apart from that it is actually brilliant.

I am usually abusing knives, you know. ESEE 6 is a beautiful survival knife, but it didn’t avoid its fate in my hands. Bamboos are the special hardcore tree in the world. Don’t let their appearance fool you guys: Bamboos sticks can be used as an excellent weapon such as clubs or staffs because they very hard to break. Next time if you get a bamboo and your survival knife in hands, just try to find out which wins.

I actually used my ESEE knife to chop bamboo trees for dinner. I hold my 1095 blade steel knife in hand, found a group of bamboo trees. Then I chose the biggest one and let my knife doing its hard works. I admit this was not an easy task: I must find proper parts and corners to cut through. Although a few initial minutes were such a disappointed impression I kept trying on and on. After 5 minutes I had some awesome bamboo sticks to skewer our chicken for dinner.

Not an easy task I admit. But we did it!
ESEE 6 has got plenty of advantages. It is actually the first big knife with regard to ESEE Kitchen knives and potentially the best balance as well as fit they've ever created. One of the biggest plus is ESEE-6P is really a full tang 1095 knife compared to its rival: rat tail Kabar 1095 fighting knife and Kabar D2 Extreme Fighting Knife. Of course, never forget Kabar is an original fighting knife while ESEE 6 is designed to be a survive tool and they have got separate missions from each other. However, if you’re lost on a big deep forest after a crash in the wilderness, I think you may feel better if it’s a full tang knife available in your hand.

Actually, no disadvantages are found about the ESEE 6P- B survival knife. I try to read the customer reviews on Google. But no cons are there about this knife. I think it is necessary to more up to date the plastic handle and it is not suitable for big work. Eventually I can articulate that the ESEE 6P - B survival knife represents an excellent balance as well as fit that are light with regard to its dimension. The 3/16" heavy 1095 metal blade is actually full toned ground. The ESEE 6 may serve like a primary backwoods survival knife, or be suited to your modular program for responsibility carry inside a tactical atmosphere.

When I purchased the knife, I was confused about its quality. But later on I was really astonished to its activity. ESEE Knives' revolutionary Sheath System offers me along with numerous carry choices for tactical as well as wilderness conditions. The top quality Blade Tech cast plastic sheath works with for use within a MOLLE Set up.

I’m very much pleased with this stunning knife, well balanced, very razor sharp blade as well as a good dimension for cutting up etc. Recommend it with regard to survival utilize. This is definitely an awesome toy for survivalists.

The full version is here. I'm very please and welcome you to my new blog

You are clearly working for Esee with this glowing review, right? :D

Nice review. I love my Esee 6!

I got an Esee 6 for Christmas this year and its one of my two favorite knives. It is just the right size for my taste, and I really like the flat grind. The only fault I could find was with the flat sided scales. Loved the micarta, but the flat scales were just missing something in their design. I ended up adding a pair of camo micarta scales from LMF, and they were a game changer! Nicely shaped palm swells made all the difference, and now extended use is just extremely comfortable. I did strip the blade, being that I dislike coatings on my blades. The little extra time taken to keep them free of rust is well worth it. Kevingreenbskg, that was a very well done review! Thanks. Here is a photo of my Six.

Haha, Thanks! I consider your idea is a praise!
I'm working for myself. Just want to share which toys I love.

I know. Just making fun of the guy in your other thread who accused you of working for cold steel and accused cold steel of planting a review.

Nice knife and review for an ESEE 6 however the blade is not considered a stainless steel. "Its blade is manufactured from high carbon 1095 stainless steel." Someone just spit coffee on his screen in Alabama.

Hi Jeff S1.
1095 Carbon Steel is NOT stainless steel. I'm WRONG.
I'm going to fix this detail here on BladeForum and my blog.
Sorry for your coffee (and maybe laptop) I'm going to fly to Java,
Indonesia next week for business. If you can be there, I'll invite you
their best local coffee.

Nice Weekend
