my eskabar came! and bit me!

so today i got my eskabar, and decided to use the knife to open the bag for the sheath and well it passed right through and formed a nice inch long cut across my left index finger. good thing im a righty! and at least i know the knife came sharp ;)
 
Damn, sorry to hear that. Mine came razor sharp. Shave the hair right off my arm, right out of the box. Hope you heal soon.
 
It seems to be a right of passage. My BK 2 taught me the error of my ways.
 
I think thats its way of saying Hi!

My BK2 has been giving me the stink eye lately. Its only a matter of time...
 
Haha... my necker came in the mail yesterday, I got so lost in the excitement that u dumped the contents of the box into my hand to find the blade coming out point first (the tip was sticking out of the cardboard sleeve). Ouch! At least you were using the knife instead of not using your brain like myself!!!

My esky bite from Sunday. I go in for a tetnus shot and they sew me up.

I wanted it sharper then it came, well it is sharp enough.

Never has hurt, even a little bit. From the cut to the needle in the cut numbing it never an ounce of pain. Lucky on this one I guess.
 
Every one I get I take it out of the package reeaal slow ~~ friend of mine got 21 stiches in his palm when he opened his ~~ so I take heed and open slowly.! lol
