Here's an updated pic of my EDCs.
EDCasof8-15-11.jpg

I recently added a new custom Gene Wiseman back pocket ultra-lite in blue to complement my smaller orange front pocket.
I decided I "NEEDED" to have not one but two autos and balis handy at all times around the house.
So my modern benchmade 51 made its way next to my 80's vintage Japanese Parker Gypsy bali.
I also keep my late 90's Emerson/Vallotton conversion CQC7 next to my "old style" stag German leverlock Hubertus.

I've realized "organizing" can be just as OCD as the actual collecting. And the above pic is only one of FOUR 12 knife collectors cases I have (obviously stuffed with WAY more than 12).
But I just love all the pretty colors and variations. . . .

Now it's your turn to show me your EDC OCD collections.

nice collection!! i know i'm headed that way  now i have one really weird question...how does the 710 stack up against the buck (looks like a ranger)? I was hoping to make the 710 my next buy. I'm wondering how the 710 compares to the paramilitary 2 actually since i havent found a thread on it (maybe i should start one :p)

hey thanks. as far as your questions, the buck/710 are two worlds apart: old school/new school. I would get both, you cant go wrong and a used buck 112 ranger is cheap.
and comparing the 710 with the spyder paramilitary is tough too since they're two different styles. I think the answer depends more if you prefer benchmade over spyderco.
I personally prefer and respect spyderco, I feel the QC is better and the materials are better too (just compare the texture of the G10 scales) . I have a large orange military and even though its more of a collector to me and the 710 a simpler user, i'd have to side with spydie and i think the smaller paramilie with the compression lock is sweet looking.
But i have to say, the axis lock on the benchmades is an impressive design, notice that i have 2 representations in the mini griptillian and the 710.
IF YOU'RE A TRUE COLLECTOR JUST GET EVERYTHING YOUR HEART DESIRES. If you've just started a BUCK Ranger/ 710 / ParaMilitay would be a great foundation.
Thanks again.

But...my wallet... :( ahh i knew it would come to this i'll probably end up edc'ing 5 knives+ thanks for the help nostimos!
