I posted this on Scrap Yard this morning; here are the ones I brought home:
You don't see M6s come up often -- for all I know, this might be the last; it's a Custom Shop and it followed me home.
The theme of this Fall's KC was Orange, mainly with the SOS series, but I really liked the pair of all-orange knives. It surprised me that they were priced higher than the SOS satins, but they are hollow ground. I left the Boss Street for refinishing -- the AD has a small coating blemish too, but not very noticeable. However, when I showed the Boss Street to other attendees, all but one mentioned the "bird's eye". The Boss Street blemish wasn't huge, but it stood out due to how smooth and glossy the orange coating is and where it was on the blade, I really liked the all-orange color scheme though, so bought both anyway -- I'm sure it'll be perfect when they send it back from the shop. There isn't too much special about the Warden, but the hand shaped handles feel great in my hand, so I bought it.
This is one of the new Busse Drop Point Hunters -- the ones in exotic handle materials (I saw two in bone and one in wood) were only $5 more than the ones in Orange G10, and while I really liked the Orange G10, I liked this Orange Giraffe Bone better.
I thought this one-off Custom Boss Street was so cool -- it's like a dagger, double edge beveled from the center of the blade and the "spine" is sharpened, but it's Bowie shaped.
