A while back there was a thread about a money-clip/knife Father's Day gift. There were many recommendations for the Spyderco "Cricket."

I was looking for a new money clip anyway, and thought why not give it a shot? From the pictures, the blade shape didn't do much for me, and didn't look too sheeple friendly, but what the heck.

I bought a money clip, which just happened to have a neat little blade attached to it. This is my first Spyderco and I'm quite impressed with it. I haven't had a chance to really use it, but I'm sure that little curved, wicked looking blade has some very specialized use's.

I would be interested in hearing from other Cricket owners that have already found where this blade really shines and shows it's stuff.

PS: It works great as a money clip!:)

I find my self reaching for my cricket more than any other knife in my collection. I don't use it as a money clip, but I love how it is so thin that I barely notice it clipped to my pocket. As far as "where the blade shines"-- I haven't found anything it can't do that a bigger knife could. At least I haven't needed a bidder blade when I've been carrying my cricket.
