If you live in n. America this would be yer common shape. These are a derivative of 'Dayton' or they're a pretty close match. Generic axes (sold in Canada/USA) these days tend to be modelled on this pattern.
An all around good design without the durability drawbacks of the more 'eye-catching' Hudson Bay-type gear.
