I've got here the small hollow ground modified sheepsfoot blade with Spydi-hole opener. This knife is great in the pocket. Without the clip it is just this de-horned orb that just rides so nice in the pocket. I don't even know it's there until I need it. It doesn't get caught up on keys ot anything without the protruding thumb studs and clip. It is also big enough to find when it comes time to use it. It does deserve some better scales, and I have some on order. I have opted for clipless micarta Death Grips. They should look great and wear well riding with the keys. I will post a picture in a few weeks when it arrives.

I also love my pieced together large Grip. It has the Ritter S30v, gold carbon fiber scales, standoffs and the benchmade low rider clip.

Anybody else care for the Hollow ground modified sheepsfoot?

Nice setups on both. I have a real hankering to put together a Ritter Grip with some Wilkins Swimming Pool Green scales. I wish someone state side had some for sale. Love the carbon fiber scales on the large.

I like the mini Griptilian sheepsfoot blade so much that I put Wilkins G-10 on mine.

(The mini Ritter has anodized Aluminum)

Thank you, and I say go for it!

Nice Wilkins grips!

I love the Grip, and I also really like the sheepsfoot version, but I bought mine in the standard drop point.

I think the Grip is a great little knife, and despite being in my opinion about twenty dollars overpriced I think it's still a great value for the money.

Where do you guys find new Handel's sorry I'm new to the forums and didn't know grips where customizable

There are several makers of custom scales. Kevin Wilkins, Cusaudi,
Death of All Things and Keyman (both forum members here)

Hey aqua thanks buddy now the hunt is on for my grip so I can customize it . I know one of my kids has it they say no but I don't usually lose knives

The oval-hole 550 was my favorite. Once it was cut to wave open it was the most reliable waved folder I owned until I got my 5.11 cut by CM or my factory Delica waves. Once they discontinued the oval hole I sold it and the trainer because I didn't want to risk losing it and not being able to replace it.

That's some unique logic. You have to be a knife guy to understand!

I also tried to find one of the oval hole mine griptillians a few years ago, but was unsuccessful. They looked pretty cool.

In true BF fashion, I replaced them with a pair of waved Delicas and a trainer, misplaced the trainer (by then the waved trainers were discontinued), then bought a second trainer and had CM wave it. When that came back from CM, I found the factory waved trainer. Next I traded into a third live Delica with a bobbed nose, then liked the configuration so much I had the first two Delicas bobbed to match the third. As much as I liked the 550, the Delicas are a much slimmer package for carry and use, and I prefer them. This is the department of redundancy department in spades.

I totally bypassed the grips and bought higher lvl Benchmades...although when I first gained intrest in Benchmade the yellow one posted above was going to be my first purchase...still may have to nab one when the oppritunity presents itself..
