I really like them all RMJ's , American Tomahawk Co., Wally Hayes etc.

just a few weeks ago I picked up one of these

I quickly flipped it and bought one of these . Which I really like

But there is one hawk that I grab out of all the hawks hanging on the rack. In fact it's never on the rack it's always in my car etc.

It's a Spike Hawk that Steve from Coal Creek forged from a jack hammer bit.

It feels awesome , the narrow bit bites deep and the spike is not stupid pointy but will always do the job

It throws like a lawn dart and it will always be the hawk that goes on my pack of belt

Kinda like a timex watch, takes a lickin and keep's on tickin, you certainly do have alot of hawk's AND Bow's Joe

Very sweet collection! Thanks for sharing Joe.

I apprecitate the new tactical hawks coming out but nothing beats a traditional for looks imo.

Gotta agree Joe!

I had a hammer poll hawk made from a jackhammer bit by Steve, I sold it to a friend...still miss it.

Just had him make me a spikehawk, and it is great. Mine has a bit wider bit than yours, with a sharpened beard for cutting on the hook. Excellent balance as well.

I have always liked the RMJ hawks but don't know if they would handle as well as a traditional hawk in use.

Joe,

Do ya ever get sick of people telling you how awesome your gear is ? :D

Naaaaah :)

I have been blessed to be able to pursue most my endeavors and meet some fantastic people along the way :)

Like You Doug

There's always something magical in the feeling with wooden handles and cold steel :)

A little off topic - but how does the Hoyt Buffalo compare to your other custom recurves? I'm looking for a takedown that I can shoot off the shelf.
