Well, our Hippie who is not nor was ever accorded an opportunity to get on the Magic Bus has had many memorable lines over the years. Thoughtful and light and funny and helping lines. So many times a word from Kismet has eased a little something here and there, I think for all of us.

My all time favorite from him used to be; "Enjoy Every Sandwich", but ultimately, "Be Kind To Yourself" wins out. Like Yangdu's own signature in correspondance, "Peace", I find it helps me whenever I read it. Some folks can say "Be Good," or "Peace Brother" all day long and it means next to nothing. But when some say the same words, special others, I get it. I allow the kindness to sink in. Peace indeed. Be Kind to Yourself -YES and YES.

Now, Kismet gets a little mad if he's praised too much so I gotta think of a backhanded compliment to lay on him to sort of balance out this thread. Nothing's coming to mind so if one of you who feels the same as I do about Kismet want to bash him around a little please do.

So, hear's a round for everyone on the House, (an expresso for me) and a toast for Kismet, another great old fart sitting on a well worn stool next to the Juke box at the Cantina.

No argument from me. But ... we have many wise and good people here.

I salute you all.

It's well known how I feel about Kismet...and i'll leave it that;)

<<was that backhanded enough??:)>>

The thing I dislike most about the rep system going away?

I can't lay any green on the folks that deserve it anymore. They know who they are, though.

(About as backhanded as I can manage.)

The Cantina is always there for you, and Kismet is the guy who answers the phone.

 :)

AA, I think you killed this thread. I don't think there's anything that could be said that's more subtle, backhanded, and true.

Unbelievers are welcome to prove me wrong.

"But the good behavior is far out-weighing the bad...I am positive of this."

Addictive optimism. I could use more of it.

Kis is out teaching Young Bert, the not quite right dog, how to fetch and is ignoring ya'll. :p :D

I want to come back as Bert, the not quite right dog, so that I can crap in Kis's yard and still get praised for it.

Uwinv, I imagine that you could crap in Kis's yard right now and still be praised for it if it would keep a certain religious group that we will leave unnamed but all know who they are at bay.;) :p :D

Kis told me that I was special the other day. Looks like the worm has turned and it's Kis' turn to be "special."

What was it you said Kis, Accept it? Well "Accept it.":p

LMAO!!!!

Back in Spring City I lived on a small farm. There were dogs, cats, Horses, Chickens, Ducks and Geese. The Ducks and Geese could scare just about anyone out of the yard, friend or foe. If the birds were afteryou, you were a gonner. Get water fowl if you want to keep people away. :D

On topic, Kis is a good guy!

Tree rats are good eatin'. When I was a boy, fried squirrel and gravy, along with a mess of grits and some "cat head" biscuits, wellsir, that was some kind of fine breakfast. :D
