I don't know what it is but the 1990 Remington Bullet Knife is my favorite knife design, I absolutely love the looks and functionality.

Is there any manufacturer that makes a replica in size and looks for under $150? Anything more than that gives me the willies, and is probably not something I'll actually use? Why is this design not a staple in the Case or Buck lineup? Come on guys, take my money... I beg you.

What are the exact specs on this model? It looks as though GEC or Queen might have a similar one. Possibly both.
Thanks, Neal

3.5 inch blade, 4.5 handle, 4oz.. I will take a look at what they offer.

Looks like a Mud Bug wouldn't be hard to modify into one of them too.

The GEC 23 is pretty close to the same and the 42 is about 1/4" shorter at 4 and 1/4"
The GEC 72'S AND 73'S ,AND 74's are much smaller at around 3 and 3/4" area . All of them are pretty nice though .

The 72 is smaller. 3 3/4" closed about. But there is a larger gec lock back pattern 42. 4 1/4" closed. Should be what you are looking for or very close to it.

The 72 is a little smaller, but it can still be had at some dealers. The 42 Missouri Trader is just a hair shorter than the bullet, but it's really close. Trouble there is that GEC hasn't run them for a few years. If you're interested in a slip joint, you could try the 23 as well.

Case backpocket at 4 5/8 or the Copperlock at 4 1/4. Buy both for less than $150 total.

The back pocket is a good one, I wish it were a lock back. Not too fond of the copper lock styling. Thanks for the ideas guys, I'll be on the hunt.

They have a new tribal lock out in April. 4 1/4 lock with "spear".
Queen Mountain Man lockback, 4 9/16 with 3 5/8 blade.

When I first saw the knife I saw a GEC 73 lockback with a clip blade. Then I really wanted one. :D

How about the new Case Tribal lock. It's similar.

The Queen Mountain Man is the knife that instantly sprung to my mind. Joeradza (Alan) already listed the size, and they also make a model called the woodsman that's slightly smaller. Both can, I believe, be had in D2, 1095, and from Schatt & Morgan, in 420, and possibly ATS-34. A few options and some google-fu should find what you want, and they are slightly more readily available than some of the comparable GEC models. Good luck. ;)
Thanks, Neal

Queen Mt. Man is the one I'd suggest for that price. The 2016 Case/Bose collaboration, Wilfred hunter, as well, but its twice your price. The pictured Cammilus made Remengton is readily available on-line. Beware the Cammilus version has a common problem of cracks around the thong hole.
