Thanks to Lui Kang for helping me get this shiny slab of pure awesomeness......

This has got to be my favorite knife yet! I knew these babies were thick but holy steel until you handle one you just can't understand.... Betetr pics to come later this weekend.

Gratz bro. Sure would like to get something from Dan myself one of these days soon. Hes got so much nice stuff-hard to choose. She's a beautiful Busse though-gratz and enjoy.

Congrats on the score! Many have tried to get that one too but you landed it. The .27" satin is sweet, but just wait till you land one thicker :-)

Damn, that is one sweet looking blade! This model has never even been on my radar but it sure is now.
Lately, I've been doing regular calculations of how much I can manage to save for Blade -and it's never enough.
That thing looks awesome; thanks for sharing.

Nice knife, what model is it and how thick is the blade ?

That's a Fusion Steel Heart. The original Combat Grade FSH was flat gound and 0.25" thick. There was also the Heavy Ordinance Grade FSH at 0.32". Later they did a special run from the Busse Company Store that were sabre ground and 0.27" thick. All were black coated, with black micarta scales, 200 at standard thickness, 200 with magnum scales. These are the true Heavy Heart FSH, HHFSH. Recently Busse has put out these really nice satin blades, as seen here, so people call those Heavy Hearts as well.

Thanks guys :) I am VERY satisfied with this one. The Sandstorm G-10 looks even better in person.

Nice, that knife would look good stuck in a stump at a camp fire after doing a hard days work.

You and snwbrdr202 nailed it. This is now my go to field/camp knife, and is a no brainier for my srvival/BOB. .27 is no joke you could pry a door open with this thing.

I LOVE the saber ground FSH or HH as they were once called, I"m glad Jerry came out with these again, kinda like when I was wishing he would come out with the saber grind SFNO, which he did. I was even lucky enough to pick up a SJTAC saber ground a while back. YES> incredible blade! I remember that blade. I held one in my hand at the last knob creek and put it back for the orange black one. at $527 plus tax, its' an expensive blade but well worth it.

.27 oooh, you got a skinny one! Great score. I let a .32 Fbmle go. Miss that sucker, but the KzII and the B11 keep me happy.

Those handles sure look great!

Very sweet score and congrats! Either of the .27's are very good options on the FSH if you can't find a .25 convex. Sadly, I tried them all in order to figure it out. :o

My personal favorite of all the FSH releases is the early convex ground .25" one. IMHO, it has the best balance and performance/weight ratio of all of the FSH's.

This one with the E-handle logo (top FSH) is the first convex one I found and it felt awesome but it was too pretty and too rare (.24" thick) to use, so it moved on though that green linen was amazing. The one below it was a .27 flat grind that was the fastest in hand of them all with those black linen handles. Funny, I don't have any of these blades anymore. :p

Then there was the logo knife that I HAD to have, only to move on shortly after I got it due to finally landing the blue one in the first pic.

The only FSH that I have held and never really wanted was the .32 HOGFSH as it is beautiful, but just too darn heavy.
