...I think I found my favourite knife. (thanks to a BF member)
a comp grade Sarsquatch. I feel it can do everything what I ever imagine a knife should do.
The box was so light when I took in my hands, I thought somebody has stolen my knife...but the SQ is just the right weight. it feels much lighter than it's size would suggest. wonderful balance and ergos. and I like the "medieval" look of the blade. rough and tough.
I've a question though: I'm a bit concerned about rust...while it's a comp finish it can corrode easier. I can handle the blade surface- but what to do with the tang-under the slabs? I'm thinking to drill out the rivets, and change them onto screws to make the slabs demontable...any thoughts?
