I know I've been neglecting my beloved W&SS brothers and sisters for quite a while. I've been keeping my head down and working my ass off to get my knives to a point where I felt they were a good representation of myself and were worthy of being sold. I didn't want to jump the gun with a less than awesome line or post a bunch of threads along the way showing a progression I was kind of self-conscious about. I wanted them to be awesome at their time of unveiling.

Here's a WIP picture of the April batch I'm about to finish. Got the handle material on the way and they should be ready to rock in about a week. These knives are going to be some hardcore awesome bush blades.

These things are going to sell FAST! If you want to get on my email list, send me an email to fletcherknives at gmail dot com with the subject "email list". You'll be put on a list for every future batch also. You'll get an email the day before a batch goes on sale, giving you the time of day that the for sale thread will be put up, That way you can get a heads up and have a better chance of getting one.

I am looking forward of seeing more of the ones with hooks on the butt of the handle. Are those for lifting pots and such?

It certainly could be. Pit was a big inspiartion in designing that knife. I even sent him a picture of the drawing to see what he thought of it. I think Pit has a lot of good ideas and makes good points when it comes to thinking up blades. If he wants this one, it'll be for sale in no time. He did mention though that he had a knife being made for him pretty soon so if he's not interested in picking up one of these yet, that's fine. I'll just get him later. :D

It's original purpose is a bottle opener, but hey... a hook is a hook. You can use it for whatever you want. I just wanted to be able to open my beers at Blade show.

Yep. It's fun seeing that first "for sale" batch getting finished. I'm ready for the handle material for these to get here NOW!:thumbup:
 
Very nice! I can't wait to see them handled. I thought about Pitdog on the top one, too, but I like the three below it, personally. I'm saving up my money to pay Stomper for a knife he's making me in June or I might snag one.

The one we spoke about(top right) obviously reaches to me the most, it's got Pitdog written all over it, unfortunately I have two knives already on order so won't be able to do business right now !

I'm pretty sure you are going to be around for many years to come though so I ain't too worried, when I do have some spare $ I'm sure it will be coming your way !!!!

How about the sheaths? What kind of sheaths are they going to be? Leather, kydex?
By the way, those blades look good!
 
i read the other page , it appears the steel is 01 and he says he can make a kydex sheath for them if so desired for a additional fee.

ps i love the big camp knife i am a huge fan of big bellied blades lol
