I have only 2 currently, both recently acquired.

But I guess I'm hooked. I have another on the way! And I'm looking and watching for more wood handled ones.

Congrats!
Looks as if you started with two great models. There are plenty of wood-handled ones and lots of variety in the selection of woods.
I started with one and had 6 in the space of a couple of months. Of course, I also gifted my mother and my gf each one as well. They use them all the time.

I've had the handyman the longest, already been out with it a couple times. I really like it. The bushcrafter sr I just got yesterday. I haven't done anything but handled it. I haven't decided if I like it or not. The tapered tang seems to make the handle just a bit smaller, and shifts balance forward. Not sure I like that either. Will have to get it in the woods to really know.
I'm very sure my wife will not let me do 3 per month, but maybe 1, 2 occasionally!

The Handyman is easily one of the best and also most popular models. It’s also the one I got for my mother - for use in her place in the country and around the garden.

Re your wife:
Get her one. My gf used to alternately roll her eyes or glare at me with every new arrival. Then I got her a Hiking Buddy with beautiful Desert Ironwood scales. She uses it daily and now she joins me in admiring any newcomers.

I also explained to her that I was merely “accessorizing”*
Somehow she could relate to that... ;)

* thanks to @Cohutta for this amazing piece of advice!

I'm determined to like the bushcraft sr., but I'll probably end up with a bushcraft, bushcraft jr., bushfinger, duke, hiking buddy, etc. And definitely a bear cub!

Excellent choices and you definitely should.
Just don’t forget about the Bush Hermit... and its smaller brothers. :D

my wife has 4 Fiddleback/family knives and now respects my purchases and trades.

Bear Cub
Hiking Buddy (prettiest one ever made)
Surls Bobcat
Fleming Lycosa

Welcome to the addiction! :)
Also, there are some fantastic knives available on the exchange right now, so make sure to take a look there. You might find a model that you’ve wanted to try for a great price.

I know I am lazy, what are the specs for the Handyman as compared to the Hiking Buddy?laonger blade? The handle looks similar.

Just got the specs right next to each other on the model thread, so got the sizes and handle lengths. So let me rephrase, what are the advantages or differences between the two? tapered tang play a lot with weight and handling ability? Thanks for any feedback.

Thanks Vance, looks like the Handyman has no real guard, and the Hiking Buddy has a guard and the handle is more rounded at the end. Anyone have the two beside each other? The pics I found both with other models, would like to see them together. So I guess the differences is how one lies it in the hand and with a guard.
