I just thought I should post a pic of my final knife. :grumpy: Now it`s time to retire.....

:DThe Anniversary Knife Series!:D Here it is, #16 for C Bryant. 7" x 3/16" blade, sharpened all the way to the choil. This one has green canvas micarta handles.

Here it is with my two "treasures" from yesterday`s travels. A big double bit axe (32" handle, head measures 10" across) and an early Buck 112 with square bolsters. The axe was $20, and the Buck was $12!

Even better! I like the old ones the best.
The 119 special was the first 'good' sheath knife I ever acquired. Still have that one, box, paperwork and all.
A Ranger was my first lockblade.

The vintage ones have more personality. Especially the 110's, prior to the rounded off bolsters look.

Here is my old 110. Only marked Buck, USA, nothing else. According to Joe Hauser it`s extremely rare!

My oldest one is marked
Buck
110

I believe it is a 1973 model. That would make yours pre 1973, by default, as that is when they added the 110 to the blade stamp.

Vintage is cool.

Awesome John! That thing is a monster! I can't wait to have some fun with it.

What a great score! The axe looks to be in pretty good shape, and so does the buck.

that knife came out great John... nice work... excellent job on the design too Christian....

That's awesome John, I really prefer knives when they are sharpened all the way like that !
