My first 2 Customs, How'd I do??? :)

Everything about the Charlie Dake knife works for me. The matching damascus blade and bolster patterns gives the piece life. Nice find!!! Thanks for sharing.

Ahhhhhhh! Funny, I just handled a similar Dake this last week. I have handled LOT'S of custom folders, but boy was I ever impressed with the solidity and workmanship of that Dake! You done REAL good. Caviar tastes--watch out!!! :p

Hey Coop, following in your footsteps for a change...

That Dake is gorgeous...absolutely my kind of knife. I couldn't save the photos fast enough.

What a way to start a collection!

I sincerely thank all of you for your kind words. I sort of pride myself on speeding up the learning curve when i enter into unfamiliar territory, i get completely obsessed, stay awake for 22 hours a day for a week or 2, exhaustively research, and learn as much about the subject as the more mentally stable among us would leisurely take a year to think about, (and avoid ulcers and other stress related disorders). :) In the last week, i have seen just about every single high end custom knife on the internet, many of them several times, the narrowing down process was brutal, but funds are an issue and i cant afford everything i see, so i look for the best bang for the buck. Im glad it payed off, and truth be told, i sort of knew i did well, i usually have a decent eye for quality and aesthetics, and I shamelessly sought validation from you all with this post, and yet, it still made me smile.:D Check out the link again, i just bought ANOTHER one today, a nice Pardue, hey, theyre just like potato chips, cant have just one, but pricier than your average bag of Sour Cream and Onion Ruffles. Thanks again guys, its nice to hear the nice sentiments from people who share my latest passion.---Ari
