I got these knives done for me and a friend just in time to take them out to Big Bend. I got some great advice here, here, and here. Thanks a ton, gentlemen!
In Process...
Almost finished. The pecan handle blade got a bit more sanding. I had to sand it out after I nicked it on the sander when shaping the handles
The scales are only taken up to 1000 grit here. After this, I took them up to 2000 and buffed them with white compound to really bring out the chatoyance.
We loved these sheaths.
