well. Here is my attempt. I am still struggling with my stiching as I do not have the right tools. but I tried at least. I colloured the leather with nails that left in vinigar a couple of weeks. You can colour the sheath completely black, but I opted to not do that to give the sheath a more worn look. I like the result.

I say nice for the first attempt......I would offer a real quick improvement, (til you get the tools you need) is to stitch a bit closer to the molding profile of the multi-tool.
Good job:thumbup:

Thanks for posting the pics! Taking that first step and diving in is half the battle. :)

I agree with rayban, bringing those stitches toward the knife will greatly increase the life of the sheath by not letting it separate in that unstitched area.

What they said..

You could still do it while there's enough room.
Stitch closely to the outline of the tool, and trim of the rest, or keep it double stitched.

Thanks for the advise guys. I will keep that in mind. I am busy with another one now. Instead of a single piece being rounded around the knife I am doing something like Vess's sheaths. I will bring the stitches in more as I trust my stitching abilities with practice.

The only tools I use is my swiss climber and one of those mathematical instruments with the two sharp points and normal needle. Damn leather makers are so far away to buy the tools

Thanks again guys for the advise! will post as soon as I am finished with the new one. Taking my time with it.
