I hope I linked these right but anyway these are my first two forged knives. The bottom one is the first top one is the second..Any and all criticism is welcome...

without more detailed pictures, I would say that they are excellent. I would work on sharpening your plunges, but that is about it.

Thanks for the kind words...and yes you are right about the plunges. Truth is I dont own a grinder yet and these were done with files and sandpaper. After these 2 its definitely the next tool on the list....

Looks like you put a lot of time and work into those.
I'm no expert at knife making, But I think they are
excellent for your first two knives.
I look forward to your future efforts.
Merry Christmas!!!
Joseph

What a nice first 1 knives. That is a lot of work with just files and sandpaper. When you get a grinder you will be amazed at how fast you can actually get work done.

Thanks Joseph and Merry Christmas to you as well.....and I recently used a grinder at a friends shop AVigil and realized i probably could have made 5 in the time it took me to make my first....lol.. Very soon i will invest in a decent grinder and post the results....thanks

I think they look great for first, or tenth knives.. definitely better than my first efforts :) I like the curve in the handle too.

I like them. They look well made. Can you give us more details please? Steel type, heat treatment, size, etc.
