I've had getting a 560 on my I want list for a while and finally got one from Mike Arnold. All black...very nice. I'll see about some closeups tomorrow.
I'm impressed by the light weight.

the Buck Hunting Yorky says
"who needs a 560 like these when ya got sharp teeth ..
besides.. i got my eye on YOU.."

"btw: like your avatar cute.. gota name?"

Take your bg42 110 and cut some steps in the tree so she can climb up and get it:p

So what is the coating on this knife? It looks like a 92 date stamp.

Dave,

How much time does that little dog spend with you anyway?
We should introduce her to my rat dog and he CAN catch those squirrels esp. with about 3 inches of fresh powder on the ground.

I thought I already made this post but I dont see it.

Flat, I cant believe thats your first 560-figgered you'd have 7-8.
Nice pick up-looks great:thumbup:

Nice one Flatlander, The black 560 I think looks good... I really like them too because they are so lite... Before you know it, you'll have more... :)

if it is black powder coat, some what bumpey, it holds up well for a while
if it is the other balck coating which is smoooth it dont hold up for squat.
either way if they will be shown do not close the blade
you will get the circle marks in the black..
for users i recommend the gold or silver last year made ones..
scratches dont show so bad on thoes..
some like that color a lot
soome like me dont

when i am not out of town they are with me a lot
go to quick trip to store post office hare ware store
and guard the car
really were the wife's Xmas present
Jingle & Bells
jingle does not like the camara!
bells poses for it.. and likes sniffing the knives.
thought they were chick dogs but relay like them now
if wife is not with me lota chicks come up and want to pet them..;)

334dave, your right on the money....

I like the 186 better as I love the pocket clip. With that said. The 560's out there are awesome. Especially the last batch/batches

i heard of a buck knife
"with plastic handles with holes in it ".
at dealers display in PA.."
i am trying to get a name and number now...
could be a home mod .. but then ...

Nice knife, Flat. I also have been looking for a 560 or 186 or both. They go for a lot on the bay.

Thanks Ed. Bought this one from Mike Arnold here on the Buck sale forum.
I've very pleased with it.
