So I've had a Tenacious for about 5 months now and I think it's a great knife for the price.
The size is perfect for me and the G-10 feels great.
The steel leaves a little bit to be desired. I.E. rust specks and easy chipping and dulling.
On the plus side the edge is easy to sharpen and gets razor sharp.
All around it's an excellent knife and would reccomend it to anyone looking for a knife at that price point.

Last week I made a trade for a Manix 2.
All I can say is WOW! What a great knife.
I love everything about it.
The quality is fantastic.
The Manix 2 is head and shoulders above other folders I have owned.
If I were to lose it or break it somehow, I would place an order for a new one asap.
And I'll be honest. It's hard for me to spend more than $60 on a folding knife.
However, after owning the Manix 2, I'll be a Spyderco customer for life.

Try a Gayle Bradley :)

+1. You've had a Chinese Spyderco, then you stepped it up to a USA model, so now you're ready to get into the best that Spyderco has to offer, the Taichung, Taiwan models. Seem odd to "upgrade" from USA to Taiwan, but the Taiwanese models are where Spyderco makes their more "premium" knives, with the best fit and finish and some of the more exotic materials. The Gayle Bradley is the perfect example of the best materials and fit and finish that Spyderco offers. Other more high end knives that are made in Taichung are the Sage series, the Techno, the Tuff, the Brad Southard Flipper, etc. Of course, you still buy USA to get classic models like the Para, Millie, and Manix and the ultimate Spyderco grail IMO is the Titanium Fluted Military.

When you are willing to spend more on a spyderco you have to try out the paramilitary 2!

I'll second this. The fit and finish on all my Taichung-made Spydies are by far the best of my collection of 60+ knives. In fact, my Sage 4, Vallotton Sub-Hilt and Techno have better quality than any custom knife I've ever handled.

My Spyderco virginity was broken last month with an Endura4 FFG in VG10...Funny,,the first words out of my mouth was WOW as well..Four days later the Delica4 showed up and I said the same thing...

That is a good point. I have had a para 2 for a while and it's great! I had a manix 2 XL. Then I got a gayle Bradley and military. I have that same reaction on most spydercos I buy or handle. I will agree that the Gayle Bradley is really the gold standard for spyderco fit and finish. You can't beat perfect. I hear the same thing very consistently about the taichung knives.

My para2 is equally as good as my sage 1 in fit and finish. I can't find a single fault with either of them.
